Finding Your Value Proposition is 90 minute interactive workshop presented by MPR Product Development. The session will focus on what it means to find an unmet medical need in this dynamic market space and solidify the new value proposition of your product.

The medical industry has changed considerably since the passing of the Affordable Care Act. With regulations pushing toward improving patient outcomes and reducing overall cost, companies are being forced to reconsider the value each product provides. The challenge for a startup is to create a great value proposition and business model from scratch while established organizations are endeavoring to evolve existing business models to provide new types of value creation. 

Here's how it will work:

After a brief Q&A with panel of experts on the about recent changes in the industry and how companies can adjust their mindset, the attendees will split into small groups for the main event.

Each table will be given a selection of potential innovative product concepts and challenged to become the “project team” for one. Each team will work through a series of exercises that will help them develop a key stakeholder map, find the unmet needs and prepare an overall plan for presenting the product’s key value proposition. In a 3 minute presentation, each team will pitch its new product value proposition for the chance of receiving not only a swag bag full of prizes, but bragging rights for the rest of the event. The winning team will be announced onstage during the networking dinner.
