Chris holds degrees from Marquette University, the University of Vermont, and MIT though did eventually get a real job. He began his career at GE Medical Systems, as a drafter and designer of nuclear imaging systems, and has spent over 20 years in the medical device industry in large multinationals as well as small start-ups, developing every class of medical device, from disposable surgical tools to implantable neurostimulators and drug delivery devices.

Chris is currently the Director of R&D at the Irvine, CA office of Halyard Health, where he oversees the company’s largest active development portfolio and its most active and prolific innovation program. He is also a partner with TWC Group, offering advice to companies on how to develop their own innovation programs in-house. He and his wife reside in Santa Barbara, CA with their dog, Max.
